J&K Govt Sets Up Panel To Review Career Progression For PM Package, Relief Org Employees

JAMMU, Aug 19: In a significant move to resolve career stagnation, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has constituted a high-level committee to examine the career progression and promotion avenues of employees appointed under the Prime Minister’s Package for Kashmiri Migrants and the J&K Relief Organization (DMRRR).

Headed by the Administrative Secretary of the General Administration Department, the panel will to cc review current service rules and cadre structures, evaluate the administrative and financial implications of potential reforms, and recommend necessary rule amendments to ensure smoother promotions, with a mandate to submit its final report to the government within one month.
