JK Forest sportspersons excel in Sports Meet at Bhubaneswar

JAMMU, Mar 7: The sportspersons of Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department blossomed in the 25th All India Forest Sports Meet held at Bhubaneswar in Odisha.
While Sohail Khalid and Younis Kuchay won gold medals in Billiards and Snooker respectively, the JK Forest Cricket team bagged silver medal in this prestigious tournament.
The JK team also claimed bronze medals in the disciplines of Golf and Chess during this mega event, while J&K contingent also clinched gold medal in the cultural competition.
The efforts of these players were lauded by their Officers including Suresh Chug (Chairman Pollution Control Board), BM Sharma, Member Secretary (Chairman Pollution Control Board) and Frankui (Additional PCCF Eco Tourism).
“It is always a great feeling to see JK teams/players sparkling at the All India Level,” said Sohail Khalid in an ecstatic mood.
