JAMMU, Mar 22: A financial literacy camp was conducted by the J&K Bank, Branch Karan Bagh at Village Rakh Gadi Garh. The camp was attended by Arjun Singh Rathore, Branch Head, J&K Bank Karan Bagh, in presence of Mohinder Kumar, Financial Literacy Coordinator, District Jammu, Aya Singh, Sarpanch Rakh Gadi Garh, Sanjay Dogra Manager Credit.
In his welcome address, Rathore apprised the gathering regarding the different financial schemes launched under Financial inclusion programme.
The gathering was also aware about Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yogna, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna and Atal Pension Yojna. In addition to this the gathering was also told about the loan facilities available with the bank under Mudra Loan. The benefits of RuPay card was also apprised.
Mohinder explained all the schemes under financial literacy programme and also addressed to some queries raised by the participants.
The participants especially the young ones showed their enthusiasm and asked a number of questions to District Coordinator FLC regarding various courses organized by RSETI.
In the end, Aya Singh Sarpanch presented vote of thanks.
