J&K Bank opens three more business units

SRINAGAR, Mar 24: J&K Bank dedicated three more business units to the people. This takes the Bank’s business unit strength to 768.
While two business units were inaugurated by Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, Bank’s Vice President and Zonal Head for Kashmir South at Kundlan Shopian and Nillow Kulgam, the third unit was dedicated to public convenience at Kalantara Payeen in Baramulla by a senior citizen of the village along with MS Kaboo, Zonal Head and Zonal Head Kashmir South.
Speaking on the occasion Mushtaq Ahmad elaborated in detail the Bank’s policy and agenda of reaching to people living in far flung areas with world class banking facilities. Notably, the total number of business units in South Kashmir has reached to 121.
After inaugurating the Kalantara Payeen business unit, MS Kaboo stated that the business unit was opened under Bank’s ambitious Financial Inclusion Plan (FIP).
He further stated that it is the mission of the bank to provide end-to-end financial solutions to the people through fastest modes of services regardless of their location and economic stature.
Pertinently, the inauguration takes Bank’s branch strength in South Kashmir to 94.
Among others present included Nazir Ahmad, Cluster Head, representatives of traders, transporters and general public.
