Dr Jitendra Singh, who is one of the members of the select 111-member parent body of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), recently reconstituted by the BJP National President Amit Shah, said, the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is overwhelming with an impact which goes beyond the party lines across all sections of society. He said, the NEC also assumes significance because it is being held under the leadership of a pragmatic President, Amit Shah.
What could be more glorifying and incredible, Dr. Jitendra Singh said, than the fact that both the southern-most constituency of Kanyakumari as well as the northern-most constituency of Ladakh are represented in the Lok Sabha by BJP which only signifies the pan-India presence of the party. In addition, the party has recorded series of important victories in States like Maharashtra, Haryana and Jharkhand besides achieving the unbelievable feat of forming a Government in Jammu & Kashmir which was beyond the imagination of all the political pandits, he added.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said, the NEC will also be an occasion for the Party to showcase and discuss various achievements of the Modi Government and various new regulations and legislations brought about under the able guidance of luminaries like Arun Jaitley.
This will also be an occasion to educate the party cadre as well as others about the advantages of recently brought Land Bill as well as amendment in the Coals & Mines Act, which not only are pro-poor measures, but would also help to cut down corruption which had been rampant during the last ten years of UPA rule.
Referring to the record membership figures making BJP the largest political party of the world after having crossed the Communist Party of China, Dr. Jitendra Singh said, those who still have any doubt or sceptisim in mind, will find themselves at their wit’s end when they witness the unprecedented public response for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bangalore.
