JIAR donates Rs one lakh to J&K flood victims

JAMMU, Sept 24: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) today came forward to help the victims of J&K flood devastation and donated Rs one lakh for them through Vice Chancellor of Jammu University.
Understanding the plight of thousands of hapless people who lost everything including their near and dear ones in the recent flash floods in Jammu and Kashmir, Dr Roop Lal Sharma, Chairman, Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) today donated Rs one lakh on behalf of JIAR for the welfare of flood victims.
Dr Sharma who called on the Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu Prof Mohan Pal Singh Ishar presented a cheque of Rs one lakh to him requesting him to forward the same to the Government for the welfare of the flood victims.
He hoped that more people will come forward with the donations so that the flood victims are rehabilitated properly adding it was the duty of every citizen to come forward and help the Government in its endeavour to mitigate the miseries of the flood victims.
