JAMMU, Mar 22: State Janta Dal United has clarified the news item regarding joining of Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJSP) by a unit of JD(U), published in today’s edition of this paper.
While clarifying on the news item, State president, JD(U), Ghulam Qadir Wani said that no vice-president and district president of the Party mentioned in the news item were functioning and performing their duties in the organization.
However, one of the general secretary, Suraj Prakash, press secretary, Vineet Karhulla and a worker, Bal Krishan Bhagat, have been expelled from the primary membership of the party about three months back, he said and refuted the claim of LJSP made in the news item.
