JAMMU, July 30: Shri Jawala Ji Samiti Khrew Kashmir today said that it has been continuously providing all facilities to yatris visiting the holy shrine especially on annual mela of Ashard Chaturdashi (Haar Chudah).
In a statement issued here, today the president of the Samiti, M K Raina said that this year also the Samiti had made elaborate arrangements for the pilgrims visiting the holy shrine and this includes supply of portable drinking water, langer facility, furnishings and bedding.
The Samiti said that the yatris faced problems this year due to inclement weather and the Samiti took quick action in making arrangements of blankets for the pilgrims.
The Samiti said that main two works including the extension of Prangan and the construction of Yatri Niwas were abandoned half way. The Samiti said that it has contributed over Rs 25 lakh and also rendered all technical and supervisory support in construction of Asthapan. It said the reconstruction work of the Asthapan was done by the Reconstruction Committee consisting of two members each from the Samiti and the Trust.
