Jatha of 108 Sants from J&K to leave for Ayodhya on Sept 7

JAMMU, Aug 26: A Jatha of 108 Sants from J&K will leave for Ayodhya from here on September 7 to have Chaurasi Kosi Parikarma yatra there on September 10.
This was announced at a joint press conference by Maha Mandleshwar Rameshwar Dass Ji along with other saint at Purani Mandi temple here, today.
He said all the prominent saints who were present in the press conference will lead the Jatha of sants from the State.
He said as per the already announcement made by the Sants during the Maha Sammelan at Kumb Allahabad this year, the J&K Sants had to take part in the yatra on September 10 and there is no change in the schedule. The Sants will leave from here on September 7 to participate in the yatra on the due date, he added.
Rameshwar Dass Ji, while condemning the arrest of senior VHP leader, Dr Parveen Bhai Togadia , Sant Ram Vilas Vidanti and 552 other saints by UP Government said that Hajis are provided subsidy and all other facilities while the Sants are being tortured and harassed by the Government.
Justifying the Chaurasi Kosi Parikarma yatra at Ayodhya as announced by Sants already from September 6 to 13 he said it will stand and there will be no change in the schedule.
The other Sants and Mahants who were present in the press conference included Mahant Divya Nand Saraswati, Dr Jagpuran Dass, Mahant Ram Priya Dass, Sant Keshaw Dass, Sant Anirudh, Sant Dwarika Dass and Mahant Satnarayn Dass Ji. All these Sants are also the members of Margdarshak Mandal VHP.
Meanwhile, VHP held a strong protest in front of Press Club here in protest against the arrest of Sants and highhandedness of UPA and UP Government which used force against the Sants who had to take part in Chaurasi Kosi Parikarma yatra at Ayodhya yesterday.
The protest was led by VHP State president, Dr Rama Kant Dubey and the protestors torched the effigy of UP Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav. Talking to media persons at the side lines of the demonstration, Dr Dubey termed the arrest of Sants and people intending to take part in the yatra yesterday as totally undemocratic. He said that VHP will not tolerate this highhandedness of the UPA as well as SP Government of UP because Sants are committed to Chourasi Kosi Parikarma yatra and they will not be cowed down by the harshness of Government.
