*Junior Billiards C’ship from tomorrow

JAMMU, Sept 4: Thirteen cueists–Jaswinder Singh, Sharan Dev Singh, Nikhil Kapahi, Sohail Khalid, Abhishek Pathania, Gagandeep Singh, Vidit Gawri, Nitin Sharma, Ankit Gupta, Arjun Sharma, Ishan Chowdhary, Rizwan and Takdir Singh smashed rivals and advanced to the next round of the ongoing Senior Snooker Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA), at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the first match of the second round, Jaswinder Singh outplayed Sourav Sharma by 3-1, whereas in the second match, Sharan Dev Singh registered win over Gurjeev Singh by straight 3-0 frames.
Nikhil Kapahi thrashed Inderpal Singh in the third match by 3-1, whereas in the fourth match, Sohail Khalid smashed Furkan Wani by straight 3-0 frames.
In the fifth match, Abhishek Pathania registered win over Pankaj Kumar by 3-0, whereas in the sixth match, Gagandeep Singh outclassed Sourav Dogra by 3-2 frames.
Vidit Gawri smashed Abhishek Khajuria during seventh match by straight 3-0 frames, whereas in eighth match, Nitin Sharma registered win over Satwik Gupta by 3-0 frames.
In the ninth match, Ankit Gupta crushed Rohit Sharma by 3-2 frames, whereas Arjun Sharma smashed Pankaj Sharma by straight 3-0 frames in the tenth match.
Ishan Chowdhary registered win over Nitish Sharma by straight 3-0 frames in the eleventh match, whereas in the twelfth match, Rizwan beat Mandeep Singh by 3-1 frames and in the thirteenth match, Takdir Singh smashed Rishab Gupta by straight 3-0 frames.
According to JKBSA spokesperson, Junior Billiards Championship will start from September 6. Players interested to participate in the Championship can submit there entries tomorrow.
