JAMMU, Mar 4: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit has announced that it will take out Jan Sampark Yatra in all the five Lok Sabha constituencies of J&K under ‘Pahale Adhikaar Phir Sarakaar’ campaign from March 9 from Srinagar.
The Shiv Sena has also announced to field its candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with the resolution of granting special status to J&K.
In a press conference here today Shiv Sena J&K chief, Manish Sahni said with the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019, the special status of J&K was taken away and the State was divided into two Union Territories.
“With the return of Statehood to J&K, the people here will see developments, investments, employment, better education, health etc,” the Shiv Sena leader maintained promising the beginning of new political era.
He said that in upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the people will have a chance to seek answers for unfulfilled poll promises made with them earlier by the leaders.
Shiv Sena women wing president, Meenakshi Chhibber; vice president, Sanjeev Kohli; president Kamghar, Raj Singh and organiser, Imran Sheikh were also present in the press conference.
