Jammu records 41° temp

JAMMU, June 16: The winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir today sizzled at maximum 41.0 degree Celsius.
A MeT spokesman said that today, Jammu recorded season’s maximum 41.0 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was 26.0 degree Celsius.
However, the unscheduled power cuts throughout the day added more woes to people’s lives in scorching heat.
Meanwhile at Katra, the maximum temperature was 37.9 degrees and the minimum 24.4 degrees. At Bhaderwah, the maximum temperature was 32.1 degrees and the minimum 14.4 degrees.
At Banihal maximum temperature was 32.0 and the minimum 13.8 at Batote, maximum temperature was 30.5 and the minimum 17.5 and at Mirpur, maximum temperature was 41.0 and the minimum was 23.9.
The MeT office predicted dry weather conditions in Jammu for next 24 hours.
