Jammu boys, Srinagar eves emerge Champions in 10th Rollball Sub Jr State C’ship

JAMMU, Sept 2: Jammu boys and Srinagar girls emerged Champions in the 10th Sub-Junior State Roll Ball Championship, which was held at M.A. Stadium, here.
Kathua remains runner-up, while 3rd place was claimed by Udhampur in boys section. In girls section, Jammu was runners-up and Kathua claimed 3rd position.
The Tournament was played under the supervision of technical team of J&K Rollball Association headed by Sudhir Singh from Jammu, who was assisted by Ashraf Dujoo from Srinagar.
In the valedictory ceremony, Hiteshwar Singh (world cup gold medallist), Simran Raina, Kavneet Kour and Rakshak Jandial (Asian Gold medallist) distributed prizes amoung the winners and apprised the budding players about finer aspects of the Rollball game.
Performance of Samarth, Taransh, Raubin, Arnav from Jammu Nakul from Kathua, Mujtaba and Mattoo from Srinagar was applauded by the one and all who were present on the occasion.
Prominent who were present included Madhu Sharma, Rajesh Gupta, Shashi Bhushan, Satish Koul, Vishali Bhogal and Madan Khajuria.
