Jake Gyllenhaal open to directing in future

LOS ANGELES, Oct 27:  Actor Jake Gyllenhaal has said that he would be keen to direct in the future – but only when he feels “presumptuous enough”.
The 33-year-old actor said that he has not yet found the right project to bring him behind the camera, according to Variety.
“I’m searching, but I have yet to feel presumptuous enough,” Gyllenhaal said.
The ‘Brokeback Mountain’ actor added that he would be interested in starring in a cable show.
“Story is king. Whatever format you’re telling your story in, as long as it’s a great story.”
Gyllenhaal can be next seen ‘Nightcrawler’ as a man who becomes involved in the world of LA crime journalism. (PTI)
