JAMMU, May 19: The ITI Trained Workers Association today discussed the problems in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Davinder Paul Singh its president.
The meeting was attended by Sanjeev Kumar, general secretary, Atul Gupta, Jai Pal, Narinder Sharma. The members of the Association said that there is no policy for regularization of ITI skilled workers under Cabinet decision by the State Government of J&K in 2005.
The ITI trained workers have expressed concern over the decision of Government to fill vacant posts on fast track basis. The PHE employees have urged to Lt Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu and Commissioner to solve the issues of ITI trained workers and policy of regularization of ITI skilled workers those given maximum time of life in PHE Department as daily wager employees.
