It is a matter of great disappointment that on the one hand there is urgency of seeding of Aadhar cards with various important documents viz bank accounts, pay card, gas connections, ration cards and so on and on the other hand there are no concrete facilities provided by Government for preparation of Aadhar cards on updation or correction in the already prepared cards. The senior citizens, disabled people and ladies are the worst sufferers. The Aadhar Centres are giving only time upon time and these people are forced to move from post to pillar. Yesterday I will quote my own example where I approached J&K Bank Durga Nagar Branch which is an authorized Aadhar Centre. It takes them three to four months to prepare an Aadhar card and even updation of any field in adhar card.
It is ridiculous that neither the banks nor any Aadhar agency viz municipalities have kept separate facilities for senior citizens maximum of whom are ill and not able to wait for hours. There are many people who are bed ridden or suffering from chronic diseases. The Government should immediately create a facility of Aadhar mobile vans in every ward which would visit the houses of senior citizens or disabled person and provide door to door facilities for preparation of Aadhar or its updation. All Aadhar agencies, banks should immediately provide separate facilities for senior citizens or disabled person and their cases be taken on priority and in friendly atmosphere.
