ISJK operative held in Jammu

JAMMU, Apr 14: Special Operations Group (SOG) and Police today arrested an operative of Islamic State of Jammu Kashmir (ISJK) from outskirts of Jammu City and foiled the outfit’s plan to strengthen terror network in the City and outskirts.
He has been identified as Aqib Bashir Parray alias Assadullah, a resident of village Unisoo in Handwara area of Kupwara district in Kashmir.
Arrest was made by SOG Jammu team headed by SP Naresh Singh under the supervision of SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli.
He was linked with arrested ISJK commander in Jhajjar Kotli early this month.
However, no recoveries have so far been made from the arrested militant. He was being subjected to questioning to ascertain motive of his camping in Jammu.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the ISJK operative had reached here to strengthen the outfits.
