JAMMU, Mar 16: SR Samuel, an IPS officer of 1999 batch of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, passed away this morning in New Delhi due to cardiac arrest.
He was presently on Central deputation and posted as Joint Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. Click here to watch video
He had served as SDPO Charar-i-Sharief, Additional SP Jammu, SSP Leh, Assistant Director, Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPS) Udhampur and CO IRP 13th battalion.
Governor NN Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti have expressed grief over the death of Samuel and prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
