JAMMU, Sept 28: The inhabitants of Raythan and its adjoining areas in district Budgam in a meeting here, today made an appeal to the concerned authorities that Pandits from Budgam be also involved in the construction work of Mata Kheerbhawani Asthapan at Raithan Budgam.
The meeting which was chaired by Chaman Lal Pandita of Arigam Budgam said that the decision taken by residents on August 22 and 23 which was also attended by MLC of the area Saif-ud-Din Bhat that no construction work be started at the Shrine without the permission of local Sarpanch.
The meeting said that the local Hindus have full right over the maintenance of their religious property and no outsider can start construction over there without taking them into confidence.
