JAMMU, Oct 10: PG Department and GDC Udhampur registered victories in their respective matches during the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Volleyball Tournament for women, being organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at Sports Stadium of the varsity.
GDC Udhampur outplayed GDC Kathua by 2-1 sets, while PG Department defeated GDC RS Pura by 2-0 sets.
Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the chief guest, while Prof Kamaljeet Singh, Dr Vinod Bakshi, Suman Lata, Shonima Malhotra, Mohammad Ishaq Bhat, Shikha, Romesh Sharma, Ravish Vaid, Jai Bharat and Vikas Karlopia were also present.
The matches were officiated by Manik Nargotra, Mulkh Raj, Amit Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Amarjeet Singh and Romesh Singh Jasrotia.
