JAMMU, Jan 19: Inter-collegiate Netball (Men & Women) tournament was organized by Cluster University of Jammu at GGM Science College Jammu, here today.
Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Principal GGM Science College was the chief guest on the occasion.
The tournament was organized under the supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi Sports Coordinator, CLUJ and Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu.
In the men’s section the 1st match was played between GGM Science College and Govt. SPMR College of Commerce in which GGM Science College beat SPMR College of Commerce College by 29-25 points.
The final match was played between GGM Science College and Govt. MAM College in which GGM Science College lifted the trophy by 25-21 points.
In the women’s section GCW Gandhi Nagar defeated Govt. MAM College by 24-19 points and lifted the trophy.
Aijaz Malik, Physical Director Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Dr. Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director Govt. MAM College Jammu, Dr. Asif Gull and Neelam were among the various dignitaries present during the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Amit Sharma, Maverick Batra, Abhishek and Mohin Sharma.
