Sir,
This pertains to award returning controversy in the country. I have gone through various articles and TV shows on the topic. But one point is irritating me for so many days which has not been reflected upon so far.
I and most of the common people of India did not even know the names of those before they got the awards. For me and for crores of Indians these people have got recognition respect and identity not for their contributions but through the awards they got. Now they are returning these awards.
How can they return the recognition and respect they got from the public all these years due to their awards? If they have morality let them also tender apology to the general public for getting respect due to getting of awards. They got attention by getting the awards. And now because they have become irrelevant, they try to win again their importance by retuning these awards. What an intellectual mockery!
