JAMMU, Aug 23: Intech, Jammu Chapter in collaboration and support of Department of Floriculture and residents of Block A, Gandhi Nagar, carried out plantation drive in the park no 48 maintained by Department of Floriculture.
The heritage species like sita, ashok, neem, molserri, amaltas, etc were planted by the residents of the area.
Ashok Gupta, Director Floriculture Jammu, Satish Sultan, Floriculture Officer Jammu and Dr Rabia Khan, Istiaq Khan, Asstt Floriculture Officers along with supporting staff of the Department of Floriculture, SM Sahni, Convener, PC Gupta, Chairman of the Mohalla Committee, Prem Sharma, Gopal Karishan Gupta and Dr Susheel Kumar Sharma were present on the occasion.
Director, Floriculture Jammu announced that such type of plantation drive will be conducted in future also in association with other Mohalla Committees and residents.
