Inner Wheel Jammu Tawi organizes function dedicated to soldiers

JAMMU, Aug 4: Inner Wheel Jammu Tawi organized a function dedicated to the soldiers, guarding the borders.
During the function, various events were organized including celebration of exchange of friendship bands, Teej festival celebration, Rakhi Making Competition and plantation drive.
District Chairman Inner Wheel Jammu Tawi was the chief guest on the occasion, while ESO Archana Bahl and PDC Dr Santosh presided over the function.
President Inner Wheel Jammu Tawi Pooja Malhotra presented the welcome address and highlighted about the working of the Inner Wheel Jammu Tawi.
While speaking, MOC Meena Jaggi threw light on the importance of Teej festival.
Later, all the members of the Inner Wheel Jammu Tawi planted saplings of the medicinal plants sponsored by Editor of the Club Nidhi.
In the pilot project of the day–Rakhi Making Competition, Meena Jaggi and Daljit emerged winners, whereas Anita Jolly emerged Teej Queen.
Later, the rakhis made by the members of the Inner Wheel Jammu Tawi were handed over to concerned authorities for delivery among the soldiers guarding the borders.
