Infiltration bid foiled in Rajouri

JAMMU, Aug 28 : Army has foiled an infiltration attempt from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri sector.

Reports said the troops noticed suspicious movement of an infiltrator along the LoC this morning. The intruder was challenged. “He opened firing which was retaliated to. The infiltrator is believed to be hiding in the area. Massive operations have been launched to spot the intruder and his accomplices,” the reports said.

Searches are underway in the Rumlidhara area of Nowshera and senior officers are monitoring the situation.
