‘Indian Silk Expo’ attracts Jammuites

JAMMU, Dec 17: The ongoing ‘Indian Silk Expo’ here at Jhelum Resorts is attracting the people of Jammu towards the pure Bhagalpuri silk.
Being organized by Shri Sham Silk and Handloom Samiti, the week-long Silk Expo which started on December 15, is offering 20 to 50 percent discount to its customers in Jammu.
“As we have organized such Expo for the first time in Jammu and we have got tremendous response from the people of the city. We have now decided to organize such Expo twice a year from now,” said Ravi Agarwal, Secretary, Shri Sham Silk and Handloom Samiti.
“We are providing best quality pure Bhagalpuri silk under one roof and giving platform to the producers as well as directly dealing with the customers so that customer could get the quality products at best prices at their hometown,” he added.
50 registered craft persons from 20 States have participated in the Silk Expo organized in Jammu.
Indian Silk Expo is providing latest wedding collections, Sarees, Suit, Dress Material, Designer Sarees, and many more. They also have special Maharashtra Paithani, Gurati, Patola, Chattigarhi Silk, Banarasi Kalamkari, Uppada, Kosa Tassar, Sananari & Blok Brint, Mangalgiri, Gadwal, Bandhini, Kanjiwaram, Chanderi, Maheshwari, Kantha, Khadi Silk, Tribal work and many more collections across the country.
