JAMMU: The Indian and Pakistan Army on Wednesday exchanged sweets on the occasion of Eid al-Adha at Chakan Da Bagh Crossing point in Poonch district. The sweet exchange programme was proposed by Pakistan Army by hotline this morning, a Defence spokesman here said.
He said compliments were exchanged in an atmosphere of bonhomie and festivity. The gesture is appreciated by both the countries and expected to go a long way in promoting peace, harmony and compassion in the true spirits of the festival, the spokesman added. (AGENCIES)
