Incharge Lecturers call on Principal Secy, demand regularization

JAMMU, Nov 25: A delegation of Incharge Lecturers called on Principal Secretary School Education B K Singh and discussed with him the issues pertaining to promotion and regularization of Lecturers.
The delegation urged for holding of DPC for all at an earliest. In his response, the Principal Secretary assured the same in one go as soon as vigilance clearance is received.
According to a press release, the Secretary further assured that work on regularization would continue till all subjects are cleared. In next meeting of DPC to be held in December 2021, subject of incharge lecturers, ZEOs and headmasters would be cleared, leaving no scope for left out. He further said that the Department of School Education is working for the welfare of teachers and students and in future more transparent policies like automatic ATD, Exams for promotion of Lecturers, Masters, CEO etc may be adopted to increase efficiency in the department. Regularization orders of CEOs and Principals would also be issued soon, he added.
Issue of Chief Educations Officers Rajouri was also taken up by Amar Nath Thakur, President of Plus 2 DPC Lecturers Forum. Amar Nath Thakur requested the Principal Secretary to transfer all Principals, Lecturers, Masters, Teachers serving in cities of Jammu and Srinagar for last five years and send them to their respective parent districts to maintain pupil teacher ratio in cities.
The delegation comprised of Ravesh Saraf, Rajesh Gorkha, Gagdev, Tara Mani, Rakesh Bhat, Hans Raj, Jatinder and others.
