POONCH, Dec 14: The police conducted a raid at a shop in Mendhar town today and recovered 136 bottles of illicit liquor from there.
Official sources said that after specific inputs about the huge quantity of illegal liquor in a shop at Sarya Market, Mendhar town, the police party led by PSIs Rohit Manmar, PSI Prince Jasrotia, ASI Shabir Ahmed and others under the supervision of Zaheer Abbas Jafri SDPO Mendhar raided the spot and recovered 136 bottles of liquor.
These liquor bottles were being sold illegally. One person was arrested in this conection. He has been identified as Rajesh Kumar, son of Late Onkar Nath Bali, resident of Gohlad. All the bottles were seized and case under the relevant sections has been registered.
