Jammu, Dec 7: Congress candidate from Jammu East Vikram Malhotra has asked the electorate not to waste their right to franchise by voting in favour of candidates from those parties who have been proved to take ‘U- turn’ from every promise they made to the public.
While interacting with the masses during his door-to-door campaign in Pacca Danga, Kanji House, Ganddu- Di- Chawni and other localities of the Jammu East constituency today, Mr Malhotra said that people should support the candidate from the party which do not take U-turn for political gains. He was accompanied by a large number of supporters during the campaign.
While talking to the locals, Vikram said that his priority was to develop Jammu East as model constituency and he was working hard to achieve this goal for the last several years. Taking a dig at the BJP, he said ‘Modi wave’, was not visible in the State. The people have realised the kind of politics BJP leadership playing to grab power. He alleged that BJP has taken ‘U- turn’ on all its election promises made during Lok Sabha polls.
He stated that the BJP, PDP and NC were trying to befool the masses. The public should see through their game plan and must vote on the agenda of development in the constituency. He said the National Conference, BJP and PDP lack vision and grit to undertake development on a massive scale, as their main agenda is to get power. He said their false sloganeering stand exposed before the people who are sagacious enough to draw a line between facts and fictions.
Mr Vikram said that he has already done lot of development works in this constituency. He was working actively in Jammu East constituency for the last five years and has spent huge funds for the development in all Wards of the constituency. The people must support him for better development.
