SRINAGAR, Apr 29: Security forces today recovered Improvised Explosive Device (IED) material in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
Official sources said that a joint part of police and security forces today found a suspicious bag near Railway Station Sadoora in Anantnag. “The area was sealed and the Bomb Disposal Squad was called to check the contents of the bag,” they said.
They said later it was found that the bag contained IED material, which was to be utilized to make an IED. “Police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident,” they added. (UNI)
