LOS ANGELES, Sept 10: “Spectre” singer Sam Smith has won Ciroc Solo Artist of the Year at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2015.
While delivering his acceptance speech, he cheekily said, “I feel sexy. It’s great,” as he pointed at the picture displayed on the screen.
“Today has been the most amazing day. To announce the Bond thing this morning is incredible. I’ve been keeping this secret for a year. It’s been intense but I can’t think a better way than to celebrate with all of you tonight,” he added.
“Ant-Man” actor Paul Rudd has been presented with the title of GQ’s Leading Man of the Year.
“I’m so touched, truly, to be here and to be accepting this… I love GQ magazine and I always have. When I was 15 years old, I got a year’s subscription for Christmas… (So) that GQ would recognise me as someone that could (represent this), I really appreciate it,” Rudd said.
Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton was awarded the GQ’s Sportsman of the Year.
“I’ve been to a lot of these evenings but this is the first time I’ve appreciated it as much as this evening,” Hamilton said. (PTI)
