The deputation comprising of President Sham Singh, Chairman C P Gupta, General Secretary-cum-Vice President Naresh Sharma and Subash Singh, Satish Singh and Jasbir Singh (all members) apprised the SSP Traffic about the harassment by Sub-Inspector Harvinder Singh, who seized a dumper bearing registration number JK02CA-0217 even after being shown all legal documents of the vehicle by the driver Anil Kumar.
They further informed the SSP that the Sub-Inspector even used abusive language and harassed the members of the Association, who inspite of hard condition of COVID-19 are contributing in the development of the Union Territory.
“There are around 20 hot mix plants working around Jammu city with a fleet of around 300 dumpers and everyday at one or the other point the Traffic Police personnel harass them just for the sake of minting money”, the deputation further told the SSP Traffic.
The SSP gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured to look into the issue brought to his notice.
