JAMMU, July 17: The Jammu Ved Mandir complex is all set to host the three -day Akhil Bhartiya Prant Pracharks and Seh Pracharks Samelan of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) beginning here from tomorrow.
This is for the first time in 92 year long history of RSS that Jammu is going to hold such an important programme of the Sangh which will be attended by 195 Prant Pracharks and Seh Pracharks from different parts of the country.
While the senior leaders of RSS including its Sarsangchalak (chief) Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat, Sarkarivah, (second in chief in Sangh hierarchy) Bhaiya Ji Joshi and four Seh Sarkarivahs have reached here on July 14, the other senior functionaries of the Sangh, heads of its different wings and All India Working Committee members reached here yesterday to take the part in its Working Committee meeting here today and later in three days Samelan beginning tomorrow up to July 20.
According to sources, the BJP national general secretary (org) Ram Lal who is also a Sangh Pracharak and some other leaders including BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav will reach here tomorrow to join the Samelan.
The senior Sangh leaders who reached here, yesterday included Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Parmukh Manmohan Vaidya, Akhil Bhartiya Samparakh Parmukh and Working Committee member Indresh Kumar, Akhil Bhartiya Seh Samparakh Parmukh Arun Ji, Suresh Ji Jain Parmukh Bharti Vikas Parishad, A Gopal Krishan, Sema Jal Kalyan Parmukh, Vijay Kumar Purav Sainik Sewa Parishad Parmukh, Vikas Tylan, Prachar Kalyan office secretary RSS Head Quarter, Nagpur, Vijay Ji Dewan, Akhil Bharti Parmukh Sanskar Bharti, Gopal Arya Delhi Headquarter head of RSS, Dinesh Kamat Sanaskar Bharti Parmukh, Jai Kumar Vigyan Bharti Parmukh, Dr Sukumar , SAKSHAM Parmukh, Sudhan Singh and A K Santosh, national joint general secretaries (org) BJP, Suresh Chander Akhil Bharti Pracharak Parmukh, besides All India Working Committee members of Sangh Ashok Beri, Sunil Goswami, Nand Kumar, Dinesh Kumar , Hasti Mal Ji, Madhu Bhai and Bal Krishan Tripathi.
Sources said over 50 senior Sangh leaders and pracharks and Seh Pracharks have reached here while others will reach tomorrow morning.
Sources said the senior leaders who held close door meetings here for last four days held a Working Committee meeting today. During the meeting many issues pertaining to various affairs were discussed and the future course of action and plan was chalked out. The issues concerning the border State of J&K including cross border terrorism and separatism, Kerla and Bengal issues predominated the discussions in the meeting. The meeting stressed the need for strengthening the nationalist forces in the State to combat the cross border terrorism and secessionist forces who have eaten up the vitals of the society, sources added.
Sources said as a precedence the national president of BJP also attends the Akhil Bhartiya meet of the RSS and Amit Shah has taken part in Coimbatore and other samelans of the Sangh so his participation in the Ved Mandir Samelan can’t be ruled out.
Sources said by holding the national level meet RSS, on one hand wants to strengthen the nationalist forces in the State while on other hand it will convey a strong message to India’s detractors that J&K is, was and will be an integral part of India and no outside interference will be tolerated by the country.
Sources said as the Samelan will be out of bound for the BJP leadership and others, however the senior State BJP leaders and ministers will be allowed to meet Sangh leadership during the lunch and dinner time in the Samelan days. The names of BJP leaders and ministers day and date wise have been prepared who will meet the senior Sangh leaders during lunch and dinner time at Ved Mandir. They included Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, State party president Sat Sharma and general secretaries also, sources added.
Sources said that RSS senior leaders may also hold a meeting with BJP Core Committee to discuss the political affairs and other issues with it. But the date and time for the same has not been chalked out as yet, sources added.
Meanwhile, the Sangh leadership held the meeting of Vidya Bharti, Sewa Bharti and Sanskrit Bharti yesterday and today. The meetings chalked out the plan for 2017 and 2018. It stressed on increasing the institutes of Vidya Bharti from present strength of 40 to 50 in next two years, sources added.
