Hiranagar residents show concern over lack of medicare facilities

KATHUA, June 10: The residents of Hiranagar showed serious concerns over the poor medicare facility in the local Sub District Hospital (SDH).
A deputation of Samajak Insaan Manch , Hiranagar led by president, Bani Lal Kandely met with SDM Hiranagar and submitted a memorandum of demands to him.
Kandley alleged that being a border tehsil , Hiranagar SDH has important role to serve to people in this COVID pandemic. But the SDH Hiranagar itself is ill to take care of patients. The Ultrasound machine is lying defunct since long time. The other important health care equipment are not in order. Number of posts of doctors, paramedics staff, Radiology and technicians are also lying vacant. The patient reaches in the hospital is given referral slip to Kathua and Jammu.
In such circumstances the poor people of Hiranagar are facing numerous problems. He appealed to LG of J&K to take personal interest to solve the grievances of SDH Hiranagar so that better medicare facilities are available to poor patients.
