Hiranagar Club, Ajit Club Gole Gujaral enter next round

JAMMU, Nov 27: Hiranagar Club and Ajit Club Gole Gujaral entered into the next round of the ongoing 4th Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament, being organized by Kashmir Sikh Sangat under the aegis of Hockey J&K at KK Hakku stadium, here today.
During the first match, Hiranagar Club got walkover as Bandu Rakh failed to report to the venue, whereas in the second match, Ajit Club Gole Gujaral outplayed AKS Digiana by 2-0 goals.
From Ajit Club, Harpreet Singh and Jatinder Singh netted the goals in 12th and 15th minutes of the game.
On the occasion, Prof Inder Singh was the chief guest, while Retd Xen Sewa Singh, President KSS was guest of honour. All the members of the Kashmir Sikh Sangat were also present.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of TP Singh, Organizing Secretary, whereas GS Bakshi General Secretary Hockey J&K is the Co-ordinator of the tournament.
The match officials were Ganagndeep Singh, Hardeep Singh, Balmeet Singh, Joginder Singh and Gurpreet Singh.
