JAMMU, Dec 30: In continuation to the drive against drugs in Udhampur District, started by SSP Rajeev Pandey, Police today arrested three accused and seized 40 grams of heroin like substance.
During a special naka laid by I/c PP Tikri SI Jaswinder Chowdhry under the supervision of SHO PS Rehmbal, Insp Virender Gupta & DSP HQ Udhampur Rohit, one Tavera vehicle, JK01R- 6214, was stopped and 40 grams of Heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of 3 persons travelling in the vehicle.
The accused travelling in the vehicle, were identified as Shabeek Ahmed alias Sheeku son of Mohd of Kheri Udhampur, Nadia of Baderwah and Showkat Bashir Rather of Khiram Tang Hard Anantnag.
In this connection, case FIR number 225/2019, under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Rehmbal.
