JAMMU, May 28: Executive Body of Jammu University Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Employees Association has made Sardar Surjeet Singh Heer as new president of the Association.
A handout stated that a decision to this effect was taken by the Executive Body today when R.L Kaith, who headed the Association for the last ten years resigned.
The Executive Body further informed that rest of the Association team shall remain the same.
The outgoing president of the Association while speaking on the occasion said that he will assist Heer.
Earlier, the Executive Body of the Association greeted Kaith on his elevation as Assistant Registrar in the University.
