Jammu, Apr 20: Exhorting Jammu youth to shoulder their responsibility to eradicate social evil and to end decades long discrimination with this region, Chairman of Team Jammu Zorawar Singh Jamwal today said that it was high time to mobilize masses to take the on-going battle to the logical conclusion.
“Jammu is facing through a very crucial juncture as forces inimical to brotherhood and communal harmony are hell bent to set this region on the fire for their petty political gains”, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said during inauguration of Team Jammu headquarters at Shakti Nagar.
Brig (Retd) Hardev Singh, an eminent social worker, inaugurated the office in the presence of hundreds of people. Amid heavy down pours, youth from all over Jammu region attended the function to inaugurate Team Jammu headquarters.
“We will come to the expectations of the people. We will take our fight against social evil like drug addiction to the logical conclusion”, Jamwal assured the gathering and said that during the last four years, Team Jammu has taken a number of initiatives which yielded positive results”.
Cautioning people against some forces which are hell bent to set Jammu on fire just for petty political gains, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that it was responsibility of youth to frustrate designs of such forces. “Since centuries Jammu is known for its social harmony and brotherhood but during the last couple of years some forces at the behest of their mentors from across the border are trying to divide people of this region”, he observed and added that Jammu is passing through a very crucial time.
Reiterating Team Jammu’s resolve to remain at service to the people of this land of Duggars, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that the main objective of this organisation is to channelized the energy of youth for character building and nation building.
