JAMMU, Sept 13: Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust (HBET) distributed scholarship amounting Rs 2,93,400 among 500 rural children during week long scholarship distribution camp, which concluded today.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Income Tax Mini Chandran, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Mini Chandran was briefed about the mentorship and medical support programmes run by the Trust for all round support of the children.
Mini Chandran told the students about the benefits of education and advised them to make full use of scholarship and support of the trust.
