Gurjar Mahasabha demands fresh population survey

JAMMU, Aug 25: International Gurjar Mahasabha has demanded fresh survey of Gurjar community in J&K.
In a press conference here today Col Dev Anand, president of Mahasabha said, to ascertain the actual number of members of Gurjar community the fresh survey should be there.

He also demanded Gurjar Regiment in Indian army and inclusion of Gojri language in eighth schedule of Indian constitution.
Mahasabha hailed the PM Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah for fulfilling the long pending demands of Gurjars like political reservation to J&K Gurjars, reservation in promotion and implementation of Forest Act.
Mahasabha General Secretary Aditya Naggar; Younis Chodhary, J&K Mahasabha president and Prakash Rao, HP president of Mahasabha were also present in the press conference.
