JAMMU, July 16: Former Union Minister and MLA, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta today laid the foundation stone of community hall being constructed in Mahavir Jain Hospital at Ward No. 32, Jain Nagar, Talab Tillo, Jammu. The hall is being constructed by Jammu Municipal Corporation out of CDF of the MLA.
Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta has sanctioned Rs. 10.00 lakh out of his CDF as first installment for construction of the hall.
Chairman JKDF Anil Gupta and Senior JKDF activists were among the others present on the occasion. Large number of people of the Ward mostly from Jain community also attended the programme. President Mahavir Jain Hospital Sudershan Jain and Pradeep Jain its general secretary were among others who attended the programme.
Sunil Gupta Executive Engineer and Ashok Wali AEE from Jammu Municipal Corporation represented JMC on the occasion.
Prof. Gupta, while addressing the gathering assured people of the Ward that his foremost preference will be to work for the development and betterment of Ward residents. Every possible effort is being made to mitigate the problems of Ward and people of the area. Various Developmental activities on public demand have been taken over in different wards of Jammu West Constituency, he added.
“The construction of community hall in Hospital complex will be beneficial for the general public especially patients and their attendants who reach there for treatment of different ailments. Every possible help and financial aid shall be provided till the completion of the hall.
Sudershan Jain president Mahavir Jain Hospital expressed gratitude to Prof. Gupta for his initiative. The construction of hall will add on the facilities being provided to patients by the Hospital administration.
