GRP Jammu rescues eloped girl from falling into bad hands

JAMMU, Apr 23: Men of GRP Jammu rescued a minor girl of Ghaziabad, who eloped from her house following an altercation with her parents over an issue.
Jawans of GRP Jammu noticed one girl with confused expressions at Kathua Railway Station. On the directions of SP, Railways Jammu, Suram Singh, they treated her in polite manner and managed to get her whereabouts tactfully.
The girl identified as Rajni Rathore (16) daughter of Parmodh Rathore, a resident of Indrapuri -Colony Ghaziabad, revealed GRP men that she left her house in a fit of rage after an altercation with her parents, after she failed Class 9th Exam declared on April 18.
On the directions of SP, Railways Jammu, Inspector Jagjeewan Bhagat, SHO police station GRP Kathua, arranged women escort and other required facilities under rules for safety and security of the said girl and contacted the parents of the girl to handover her to them.
