Govt must reach people in Kashmir: Citizens’ Forum

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Aug 31:  Citizens’ Forum Jammu fully supported and appreciated the strong stand taken by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in retaliating the nefarious designs and actions by Pakistan and the Hurriyat people in creating present situation in Kashmir.
President of the Forum,  R K Chadha in press statement said that Mr Geelani and other leaders who  have very conveniently forgotten that this State belongs to us too, the Jammu and Ladakh people. ” We are far too more in number than a section of the Kashmiri Azadi seekers who are permanently on the pay role of Pakistan through Hurriyat leaders.
There is a section of people who, are getting funds regularly from Pakistan to be always ready to create disruption in the Valley. We demand  from the Central Government to reach to this section of people and correct their approach towards their own and their other Kashmiri brothers who want to live in peace,” Chadha added.
The citizens of this State feel very sad when they think that parents in Kashmir, who after long prayers got sons to them, but instead of making them educated  and technically qualified human beings, have given stones in their hands to through on mighty Indian forces just to please the Hurriyat leaders, who again are using these young boys  as fodder to be killed or maimed by the forces.
Mr Chadha said today after fully realizing, majority of Kashmiri brothers have very well understood that after a long struggle of a `fake Azadi call’,  they have lost the most precious thing of their life i.e. their posterity.
