POONCH, Apr 20: Terming Government as “missing” in Poonch rural belts, senior National Conference leader and former Member Legislative Assembly Ajaz Ahmed Jan said that 30 families of this village are under the jaws of death, as their houses are likely to collapse.
Ajaz Ahmed Jan along with his party leaders today visited Balnoi area where he took the stock of the situation arisen after heavy rainfall and floods. Jan was surprised to see the pathetic condition of the people living in the area where at least 30 families were living in the jaws of death.
Terming it a total failure of Government, Jan held protest demonstration with banners ‘Govt Missing’. He said that Govt is nowhere for the people of Poonch as not even a single team of Government has visited the area to assess the bad condition of the people living in the area.
He said that people have complained that no assessment has been made of their losses in the recent floods and rainfall.
