Govt Has No Role In Power Tariff Hike, Done By JERC: NC

NC spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, said the recent power tariff hike has been done by Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission, on which the J&K government has no control on it. He said J&K has the lowest power  rates in north Indian state. He said during PDP-BJP government the tariff was hiked by 15%.
