JAMMU, Dec 24: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir today accorded sanction for constitution of UT Level Committee and District GOBAR-DHAN Cells for implementation of GOBAR-DHAN 2020-21 Scheme in J&K.
The UT Level Committee, headed by Financial Commi-ssioner, Health & Medical Education Department, shall be comprising Financial Commis-sioner, Finance Department; Principal Secretary, Science & Technology Department; Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department and Principal Secre-tary, Animal/Sheep Husbandry Department as Members and Secretary, Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj as the Member Secretary.
The District DGOBAR-DHAN Cells, headed by the concerned DCC, shall be comprising ADDC, District Panchayat Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer and Executive Engineer, REQ as the Members and ACD as the Member Secretary.
The Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj shall be the Nodal Department and Director Rural Sanitation shall be Nodal Officer, who shall coordinate and facilitate the implementation of GOBAR-DHAN 2020-21 Scheme in the union Territory of J&K.
