JAMMU, May 12: The Government has created 21 posts of professors and associate professors in the Government Medical Colleges of Jammu and Srinagar.
An order to this effect was issued by Health and Medical Education Department today. As per order 11 posts of Professors and Associate Professors in various Departments were created for GMC , Jammu while 10 posts of Professors and Associate Professors in various departments were created in GMC, Srinagar.
In GMC Jammu one post of professor and associate professor each was created in the Department of Gynecology & Obstetrics and two posts of Professors and Associate Professors in Orthopedics. One post of professor each was created in the Department of Anesthesia, Ophthalmology, and Physiology. Besides, one post of Associate professor was created in the Department of Pharmacology and surgery for GMC Jammu.
For GMC Srinagar the Government has created one post of Associate Professor in Pharmacology, two posts of Professors in Pediatrics, three posts of professors and two posts of Associate Professors in Gynecology and Obstetrics and two posts of Associate Professors in surgery in GMC Srinagar.
