Govt committed to equitable development of State: Haq

JAMMU, Sept 5: Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Justice Abdul Haq today said that the Government has undertaken a holistic programme for ensuring equitable development of the State.
He said Government is focused on the development of the State and is committed to complete all major projects within the stipulated time frame. The Minister was interacting with various deputations and individuals who called on him here today.
Vice Chairman J&K State Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of Schedule Castes Bhushan Lal Dogra was also present on the occasion.
Responding to the demands raised by deputations, the Minister assured them that he would take up the issues with the concerned departments for their early redressal.  He said that the Government is committed to development of rural and far flung areas. “To meet the goal,     several schemes and programs have already been undertaken under   R&B, PDD, PHE, Health, RDD and other sectors”, he said and  urged the people to take full  advantage of various State and Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
He said that the dream of Chief Minister about Rural Development Department will come true only when all the flagship programmes of the department are implemented in letter and spirit and all the stakeholders work with dedication, cooperation and honesty.
