JAMMU, Mar 29: Repetition of terrorist attacks in regular intervals and subsequently the shedding of crocodile tears by Government functionaries on mass killings reflects the casual approach of Government towards the security of common people who are slaughtered by these inimical forces at will.
Such security lapses are unacceptable that too when hardly few months ago a deadly attack was carried out by terrorists in the same area. It seems the Government have put the common masses at the disposal of these elements who strike at their convenience.
Holding Congress led UPA Government responsible for the recent terror attack at Janglote, JKDF State president and candidate for Doda-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency, Anil Gupta said, the Government has failed to protect the lives and property of its own people from external forces inimical to peace and tranquility of the State. Such cowardly acts are the result of weak foreign policy of the Government due to which the ultras indulge in massacres and terror acts only to mark their presence and to register their designs. Such acts cannot be carried out all of a sudden, Failure of security agencies to check the intrusions despite of prior apprehension that such misadventures will be carried out by the elements across the border to take advantage of election season in the country is putting the question mark on the functioning of security mechanism in the State.
The whole incident is needed to be thoroughly investigated and responsibilities be fixed to prevent such horrendous incidents again and again.
